Sheriff Khimshiashvili House-Museum is located in Skhalta, in his former house, on the left bank of the river Skhaltistskali. The house was built by Sheriff Khimshiashvili in 1873. The house-museum houses 535 collections. These include paintings, sculptures, applied arts, numismatics, living and ethnographic materials, various types of photographs, documents, scientific and auxiliary literature. The Khimshiashvilis' family, family and living items also have a special place in the house-museum. The House-Museum hosts an exhibition of paintings by the Khulo Art Gallery twice a year, as well as an exhibition of student-created drawings and works of art, screenings and discussions of films, conferences and lectures on various topics.
