Winter Festival - Goderdzi

Along with summer and autumn events, winter festivals are also held in Adjara. The main goal of the winter festivals is to popularize the opening of the ski resorts “Goderdzi” and “Gomarduli”. The festival hosts winter sports activities. Catering facilities located on site offer hot tea, coffee, cocoa, mulled wine, as well as hot dogs for a small fee. One of the central elements of the festival is a bonfire and, of course, live music throughout the day.

On the day of the festival, the resort provides the opportunity to use the ski lift for free. Do not forget to bring gloves and mittens before going up, because it is especially cold there. Reaching the top you will see unbeaten snow and have a good opportunity to play snowballs. Of course, lovers of skiing can ride on a long, 8 km track that is different from other ski resorts.

 In the evening, as well as during other festivals, it is time for electronic music played by DJs. A good addition to this is the natural rural chacha, which will help you to warm up in a cold mountain evening. The event ends with a beautiful firework display.
