Batumi Archaeological Museum has been operating since 1994 and offers many interesting exhibits found on the territory of Ajara. The priority of the museum is to present the region of Ajara. The museum has two exhibition halls: a permanent scientific-popular exposition and exhibition of the gold stock.

The Archaeological Museum is located at the intersection of Chavchavadze and Melikishvili streets and is easily accessible by municipal transport. The bus stop is right across from the museum.
